Here is a guide to help you be successful in your journey to being equipped to fulfill the purposes of God in your ministry.

1.) Set a goal:

What is your purpose for this fundraiser?

2.) What are the targets we need to list to support with the money we raise?

      A.) Missions

B.) GYC (Gospel Youth For Christ)

      C.) Building Fund Projects

      D.) WIC (Women In Christ)

      E.) Your own church projects

These are only suggestive ideas but your ministry will plan it's purpose.  These are not requirements who to donate to. You may also want to plan a fundraiser project for your own ministry work.

(The Tithe from our churches should be sent to AIGA Headquarters)

3.) Create a presentation to show and send to participating e-mail addresses.

4.) Give a clear guide to what are the Fundraiser options to choose from as listed below:

      A.) Brochure Fundraiser..

B.) Creative ideas as a committee comes together to discuss.

C.) Have a craft committee at your church to create pillow shams,

quilts, etc. (these items can sell at city craft fairs and flea markets.)

D.) Walk-a-thon or bicycle ride-a-thon (these require sponsors who

pledge a certain amount of money per mile)

5.) during the fundraiser take pictures of those participating while in action and after the fundraiser present a powerpoint presentation or slide presentation to encourage others to join in on the next fundraiser adventure!.

No Upfront Cost Fundraisers. These fundraisers are called "Brochure Fundraisers.  These are Brochures that offer products through a company that gives you a brochure such as "candles" for example. This site is purposed only for non-profit fundraising.

Brochure Fundraiser - STRATEGIES

Set up goals for your group and participants Clearly verbalize the purpose of the fundraiser to your members and define exactly how much money you absolutely need.  Next, divide out the group goal by the number of volunteers.  That will give you an individual goal for each member to raise. Divide that amount by the profit you will make on each item so you can also tell them how many items each will need to achieve the goal.

Clearly Define the Purpose of the Fundraiser Create a presentation for your group showing them how they will directly as well as others benefit from the proposed purpose. Create pictures of the targeted purpose that will benefit from the fundraiser.

  • Plan an auction with your church Have your congregation donate items to auction off while members bring a potluck for fellowship.

  • Have a Youth Aution Get the youth to auction off themselves to church members to do yard work, pet sitting, babysitting, etc.

  • The congregation can participate in a "Walk a Thon". Have forms made up for those who wish to donate and pledge a certain amount for each mile the participant walks.

.  Various fundraising items are available  at the AIGA  headquarters. Help us build the Kingdom of God as we reach out to others.
